About
Maryann Kalunta

I don't just plan. I deliver.

Five years of project and program delivery. From a 45-member media team to a 1,000+ entrepreneur conference to directing Northern Nigeria's fastest-growing innovation hub, my work sits where sharp strategy meets obsessive execution.

Today I lead revenue projects at Ihifix Technologies and direct Northehub, overseeing a 300+ member community, a team of three, and a calendar of flagship events.

What I value: clarity over complexity, outcomes over optics, delivery that outlasts the meeting room.

Projects that moved the needle

AfriScale 2025
1,000+entrepreneurs trained

Build a continent-scale conference that moves African founders from survival to global competitiveness.

Key Moves

  • Mapped agenda to 3 founder pain points: systematisation, digitisation, capital access
  • Curated speakers from Nigeria and India across the C-suite
  • Wired the event to the Ihifix AfriScale Business Fund (up to $3,000 + mentorship for MSMEs)
  • Ran execution on ClickUp with sprint discipline across 4 workstreams

Outcomes

  • 1,000+ entrepreneurs trained (Nigeria + diaspora)
  • 300+ in-person attendees in Kaduna
  • 20+ unsolicited founder testimonials reporting post-event growth
  • Policy discussions that pushed conversation on tax breaks and SME capital

Conferences are easy to make loud. I built this one to be load-bearing.

Northehub Summit 2025
250+attendees at Northern Nigeria's largest founder gathering

Produce the flagship Northern Nigerian innovation summit and close the gap between regional founders and Lagos/Abuja ecosystems.

Key Moves

  • Programmed around what Northern builders actually needed: product strategy, founder craft, policy access
  • Curated speakers across product leadership, founder experience, and public sector
  • Closed strategic partnerships with Crust Microfinance Bank and Giggles Glow Grow
  • Ran cross-functional execution through structured sprints

Outcomes

  • 250+ attendees convened
  • Mentor-founder relationships sustained post-event
  • New ventures birthed from summit conversations
  • Repeatedly described as an "eye-opener" in testimonials

The metric I care about is what happens 90 days after.

Northehub Directorship
300+member community, team of 3, 2 flagship events

Lead strategy and execution for Northern Nigeria's fastest-growing innovation hub.

Key Moves

  • Strategy and execution of the full hub programme calendar
  • Leadership of a 3-person team across programmes, content, and community
  • Oversight of 2 flagship physical events plus a recurring webinar series
  • Stakeholder relationships across founders, mentors, investors, partners, and government

Why It Matters

Northern Nigeria has been underestimated in Africa's tech narrative Northehub is one of the deliberate interventions changing that My job is making sure the delivery matches the ambition, every week

Building ecosystems, not just events.

Koinonia Media Department
45team members coordinated weekly

Cross-functional program coordination and weekly production operations for a dynamic media ministry.

Key Moves

  • Coordinate a 45-member media team across production, editorial, design, and broadcast units
  • Hold the operational rhythm behind a weekly publishing cadence
  • Own governance and continuity — decision logs, meeting structure, stakeholder communication
  • Keep creative and technical units aligned across projects

Why It Matters

Support delivery of at least one major event or broadcast weekly Ensure 45 contributors ship on time, every week Built sustainable systems for cross-unit coordination

Operations is invisible when it works. That's the point.

Delivery leadership across engineering, design, content, and media.

Key Moves

  • Sprint ownership on ClickUp
  • Content-product alignment to turn milestones into market narratives
